Kiwanis Honors Community Leaders

On Friday, April 29, the Kiwanis Club of Howard Beach honored Andrew Baumann, President & CEO of New York Families for Autistic Children (NYFAC), Inc. with the “Community Service” Award.

Baumann’s co-honorees were Hon. Augustus Agate, retired Supreme Court Justice, recipient of the “Clement Vicari Service” Award; and John Spagnuolo, Howard Beach Kiwanis Immediate Past President.

The evening was made even more special by members of the Aktion Club of Howard Beach at NYFAC, who were in attendance and presented each honoree with an award.

“One of the greatest accomplishments, I think, to this day, is joining the Howard Beach Kiwanis,” said Baumann. “It’s easy to do what I do when you have good friends, and they are some of the best.”
