NYFAC SCIENCE PROGRAM
Float on, Float on as the song lyrics go. We made aluminum boats and learned about buoyancy this week.

NYFAC gets Con Edison grant for Science Program
On Thursday, November 19, Carol Conslato, Director of Con Edison’s Public Affairs, and Anthony Hill, also from Con Ed’s Public Affairs, visited New York Families for Autistic Children (NYFAC) to see our Science Program.
This Program was made possible through a generous donation from Con Ed.
From magnetism to conservation to chemistry – and even slime – NYFAC’s Day Habilitation Without Walls individuals are loving the hands-on experiments and learning about science!
“We are grateful to Con Edison for allowing us to teach our individuals about Science in a fun, appropriate manner,” said Andrew Baumann, NYFAC President & CEO. “Their generosity is helping us to expand our individuals’ minds – and achieve our mission of
‘Helping parents . . . Help their children . . . One family at a time.’”
